Building our chicken coop this summer (2008). I think those hens have a pretty good looking place to hang out. What do you think? We now have about 30 chickens that we are waiting for them to grow up to give us some eggs. We have New Hampshires and brown leg horns.

Daisy gave birth to 4 health puppies on August 23, 2008. She did well and is a very good Mommy. She had 2 girls and 2 boys. Things were going well until the puppies were 10 days old and out of no where we lost the smallest little boy. He was fine one minute and then gone the next with no explanation as to why. Then again four days later sorrow hit our family again and we noticed that one of the little girl puppies had lost a little bit of weight and would occasionally make a strange noise. We took her to the vet right away and the vet couldn't find anything wrong with her. We took her home and when I went to take her out of the basket and she wasn't breathing and was limp. I aroused her and could tell immediately that the outcome wasn't going to be good. She passed away the next day in my hands. Aren't They Cute!
Here are our sweet little puppies, Maggie and Dunken. They are now 4 weeks old and so very cute. They are starting to play and wrestle with each other. They have brought a lot of joy into our home
